I do think social media has a big part of fake news, espesially twitter and facebook, literally every other post or tweet is fake news or close to it. To conclude, i very well do believe that fake news is not new, however it is newer now than it has been because you can use social media and so many other things for fake news now. I honestly believe fake news runs a long ways back in history.
